What's New for 2024?
For the new model year, the 2024 Defender gets an all-new trim level specially designed for the new long-wheelbase Defender 130 model. This new trim, known as Outbound, is exclusive to the 130 and replaces the existing 3rd-row seats with a cargo area, adds seat ventilation and three-zone climate control, air suspension, and many other upgrades. Additionally, the Defender 130 is now available in the V8 trim level, making it available across all body styles.
2024 Defender Trim Levels
The 2024 Defender has seven trim levels: S, SE, X-Dynamic, Outbound, X, V8, and V8 Carpathian Edition. The Defender is also available in three body styles: the short-wheelbase Defender 90, the Defender 110, and the long-wheelbase Defender 130.
S
The 2024 Defender S may be the entry-level trim, but it is impressively equipped compared to other SUVs in its category, even as a base model. Available in all body styles, this trim features all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay, Meridian premium audio, a sliding panoramic roof, and more, making the 2024 Defender S an impressive and highly capable SUV.

Outbound
The 2024 Defender Outbound is an all-new trim level exclusive to the long-wheelbase Defender 130 model. This new trim builds off the popular Defender X-Dynamic and adds dark exterior trim and wheels, upgraded suspension with Terrain Response, a larger infotainment screen, and more. However, a notable change over the Defender 130 is the removal of the rear 3rd-row and rear windows, making it an excellent choice for off-road exploring.
